A Minimalist Loft In Greenwich Village
Colleagues visiting the apartment have noticed its resemblance to the Chipotle restaurants — particularly elements like the walnut architectural volume, which recalls the freestanding plywood forms at Chipotle. Both were built by Digifabshop, in Hudson, N.Y.

Remembrance Of Things Past
Dinner tonight is at Trattoria del Glicine,
high above Lake Como.
A dinner guest,
a young Lombard,
states in conversation,
"Hudson? I've been there.
Many shops."

The Glorious Hudson River
Hitch a free ride
to Manhattan on the
historic 1931 fireboat John J. Harvey tomorrow, Friday, May 27th. Departures from Kingston, Poughkeepsie and
Cold Spring.
Department of Random Thoughts: Greene County is a sponsor of the John J. Harvey, bringing the boat north from New York City to dock in Kingston and offer education programs and free river passage. If the City of Hudson could find a local sponsor, it's easy to imagine the benefit to our Museum of Firefighting, our local education, and our local tourism as well - imagine the boatloads of antiquing butt pirates taking advantage of a gorgeous free ride to or from the 12534. It would be a public relations win-win-win for all.

Reflections
Tonight, Thursday, April 21st at 7:00 pm, Glenn Ligon will be joined at the Whitney Museum by exhibition curator Scott Rothkopf and art historian Huey Copeland for a dialogue on the joys, fears, and implications of a midcareer show.
