In the spirit of Keeping It Local, couldn't we get Darren Aronofsky to direct Mark Ruffalo (spirit him over from Margaretville) and Frank Langella in Ninth Gate II, set in Hudson? Antiquarian book locations abound, Hudson itself is a seductive gateway of sorts, and I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a choice role for Kathleen Turner (head of the local DAR?)...
